Important UpdatesPIR UsersThe PIR PKI two factor authentication requirement date has been delayed from September 23, 2013 to October 28, 2013. The decision to delay is to ensure overseas DoD PIR users have the appropriate access. Those who are currently logging into PIR using their active PKI Token or PIV card please continue to do so to ensure continued access. As of October 28, 2013, all PIR users will be required to access the application utilizing two factor authentication. Two factor authentication is made up of: What does this mean for you?PIR utilizes the Single Sign-On (SSO) process of authenticating into PIR. PIR users must have a credential (PKI token) in order to access the system. Fiscal Services will provide PKI tokens to PIR users at no cost to your agency. NOTE: If your agency does not allow tokens, please contact the Outreach team at pir.agency.outreach@fms.treas.gov for further direction. What should I do if I do not have a PKI Token?To ensure your continued access to the system, please request a token using the three steps outlined below.
