Overview

The Philadelphia Financial Center (PFC) disburses payments on behalf of federal agencies. PFC's primary customers are the Social Security Administration (SSA), the Railroad Retirement Board, and the Department of Labor. In Fiscal Year 2008, PFC issued over 497 million payments, including 426 million SSA payments. PFC services approximately 160 federal civilian agencies.
