IPP 1st Annual Agency Forum

Come Learn What's New with IPP
You are invited to attend the Invoice Processing Platform (IPP) First Annual Agency Forum on Tuesday, November 27, 2012. This is a great opportunity to learn best practices, share information and discover ways to improve your agency's financial management using IPP. The morning session is open to all agencies. The afternoon sessions are open to agencies currently using IPP.

Morning session (8:30 - 11:30 AM EST)
Keynote speaker Ms. Wanda Rogers, Deputy Commissioner of the Financial Management Service, will kick off the forum with a discussion on:
 IPP as part of Treasury's broader efforts to improve financial management government wide
 The Shared First Initiative and its impact on IPP's role

Andrew Ganahl, with the Office of Financial Innovation and Transformation (FIT) will speak on:
 FIT's electronic invoicing initiative and IPP

Hear from several agencies using IPP to help meet strategic goals and streamline vendor invoice approvals and payment processes:

  • The Architect of the Capitol
  • Bureau of Engraving and Printing
  • Bureau of Public Debt
  • Department of the Interior

The Afternoon Sessions (12:45 - 4:00 PM EST)*

Current IPP agencies are invited to register for two of the following four sessions:
Session # 1. Mandating IPP to Vendors – Hear what’s worked well (and not so well) from your colleagues on mandating vendors to use IPP, OR

Session # 2. Vendor Enrollment – See what IPP Release 2.5 will do to streamline vendor enrollment

And

Session # 3. New Releases – Learn what’s planned for future releases, OR
Session # 4. Training – Get your questions answered on how to use IPP from subject matter experts
