DefinitionA C-KEY is an abbreviation for classification key which is a unique agency accounting code assigned to a transaction. Agencies will establish C-Keys in SAM for collection transactions that will be used to derive the appropriate values of TAS-BETC(s).

DescriptionThe <Ckey> element is a child element of the <AccountClassification> element. The <Ckey> element is the third element under the <AccountClassification> element and is an optional element.

ClassName[1..1] String [0, 25]The string that contains the actual Ckey Name. For example, the Ckey Name could be 'Tax Class', and the Ckey Values could be '01', '02', etc. Also, non case-sensitive uniqueness will be enforced. (Aa would be a duplicate of aA.)
ClassValue[1..1] String [0, 50]The string that contains the actual Ckey Value. Also, non case-sensitive uniqueness will be enforced. (Aa would be a duplicate of aA.)
