The annualized interest rate is different for State fiscal years that began on April 1, 2000, July 1, 2000; September 1, 2000; and October 1, 2000

For States with a fiscal year that began on April 1, 2000;

The annualized interest rate is 5.84% (.0584)
The daily interest rate is .016% (.00016)

For States with a fiscal year that began on July 1, 2000;

The annualized interest rate is 5.30%(.0530)
The daily interest rate is .0145% (.000145)

For States with a fiscal year that began on September 1, 2000;

The annualized interest rate is 4.84%(.0484)
The daily interest rate is .0133% (.000133)

For States with a fiscal year that began on October 1, 2000;

The annualized interest rate is 4.59%(.0459)
The daily interest rate is .0126% (.000126)

The daily interest rate is calculated by dividing the annualized rate by 365 calendar days.
