Quick Tips:

  • Search for a page with all words in any order as typed, do "with all of the words" or use default search.

  • Search for a page with all words in order as typed, do "with the exact phrase" search.

  • Search for a page with any words as typed, do "with at least one of the words" search.

  • Natural language searches such as "where is my money?" will be concatenated as a search for the word "money".

To make the best of your search experience, there are certain search rules that can make searches more successful. Search results, or Document List, are arranged with FMS-owned documents on the left, with suggested documents and external related materials locate on the right. If no pertinent results are found, the "Search Other Official Federal Government Agencies and States Websites" can direct your search term(s) to www.USA.gov, the official U.S. Government search engine. Number of results can be reduced to specific documents by narrowing search term(s), and conversely, be increased to include more documents from other related topics by widening search term(s).
